Day 1: Arrival, meet and greet – Nairobi
Upon arrival at the airport and clearing customs/immigration formalities, you will be met by our representative and transferred to a city hotel for a short rest (Panafric or similar). Overnight: Panafric hotel or Jacaranda
Day 2: Ngorongoro – Central Serengeti National Park (Seronera)
Check out after breakfast and transfer to airport for your scheduled flight to Tanzania, board your flight to Kilimanjaro airport, arrive and connect another flight to Serorena, you will arrive and transfer to your lodge with an enroute game drive. The history of mankind is explored on a visit here, where in 1959, famed archeologists Leakey discovered the fossilized remains of the earliest known man, believed to be about 1.8 millions years old. Enjoy the colourful lecture. With breathtaking sceneries and endless plains, Serengeti has the highest concentration of wildlife in the world and with the onset of wildebeest migration you will surely be left with ever lasting memories of a truly Out of Africa safari. Day 3: Serengeti National Park (Seronera)
Both morning and afternoon game drives are included today. The breathtaking savannahs of the park are a stunning backdrop to a diverse and abundant wildlife population throughout the year. Serengeti is unique as its name, with plains, rivers and rocky outcroppings known as ‘Kopjes’ all have resident populations of wildlife and panoramas are breathtaking. You will explore this park with morning and afternoon game drives in search of large predators and the gentle herbivores which they depend on for survival. Day 4: Southern Serengeti National Park (Ikoma)
Still enjoying the Serengeti Park a world Heritage site, you will journey out to further south of the park with an enroute game drive and picnic lunches parked for you. Further south is the most active during the Migration season. Set in the midst of an incredible vista of savannah and skies, sheltered in a grove of acacia trees is Serengeti Tented Camp. Ideally situated along the path of the migrating wildebeest between Kenya and Tanzania, the camp is situated at the border of the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. There you will find yourself on probably one of the best game drives in the area – along the western corridor of the park, taking in Kirawira and the Grumeti river – home to the infamous wildebeest-eating giant crocodiles. There is no better place to take in one of the world’s greatest wildlife spectacles. The park is home to the “Big Five” (lions, elephants, buffalo, leopard and rhinos), as well as antelopes, gazelles, hippos and a variety of birdlife. You will check in your Camp as the sun sets! Day 5: Southern Serengeti National Park (Ikoma)
Watch the animal kingdom come to live against the impressive African sunrise/ sunsets with morning and afternoon game drives. The park was made famous by the movie ‘Serengeti Shall never die’ and for sure you will have a memorable stay here. Day 6: Ngorongoro Conservation Area Park
This morning drive via Olduvai Gorge. Day 7: Ngorongoro Conservation Area Park
You will leave with packed lunch boxes and descend into the crater for a day long activity of game viewing. Ngorongoro crater is at the depth of 2,000 feet, this is caldera, created by the collapse of an extinct volcano, contains what might be called “LOST WORLD” of wildlife and in co-existence of cattle herding Masai.Over 30,000 different species of wildlife have been recorded here. You are sure to see the Black Rhino, Lions Elephants and even the cheetah among other many species. Wildebeest populations form a huge part of this and live in harmony with the cattle herding masai Tribesmen.Your day long game drive with include visits to the alkaline lake to view resident flamingoes and a host of other birds. The crater is reputed to host one of the largest populations of hyenas and if lucky you may spot them over a kill. Day 10 Arusha – Nairobi- Malindi
