Occasionally Cheetah, Leopard and Aardvark are seen. About 10,000 head of wild animals are counted annually. Over 475 different species of birds have been identified in the Naivasha Kedong Private Wilderness.

4 DAYS 3 NIGHTS NAIVASHA MOUNT LONGONOT LODGE HOLIDAY ITINERARY

Day 1:Nairobi – Drive To Kedong Ranch Conservancy Naivasha

0800 Hours: Kedong Ranch Conservancy Naivasha is our destination today. You will be picked up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or from your hotel residence in Nairobi and driven to Naivasha.

1000 Hours: Arrive in Naivasha and proceed for a boat ride on the lake. A short boat trip from the mainland out into Lake Naivasha gives you access to the unique Crescent Island Wildlife Sanctuary.

A wide variety of wildlife, birdlife and flora lives quite freely out there and as there are no predators to be found, quite happily as well.

There is a lot of easy to see game e.g. giraffes, waterbucks, elands, wildebeests, zebras and impalas. It is also a heaven for birds with +200 species recorded.

The lake has a lot of hippos, which you can easily spot from the island. Spend some time wandering around at your own pace and enjoy the peace and quiet broken only by the sounds of the Islands wild inhabitants.

1300 Hours: Return to the mainland and proceed to Kedong Ranch Conservancy Naivasha to arrive in time for lunch. After lunch check-in to your rooms at the Longonot Ranch House.

1400 Hours: Afternoon you may opt to relax at the lodge or take a nature walk, game drive, Bush sundowners and later a Night game drive.

Day 2: Activities To Partake While At The  Longonot Ranch House

0700 Hours: Breakfast at the ranch house followed by an activity of your choice. You may decide to take horse riding for a couple of hours, visit Hells Gate National Park for cycling amongst wild animals or Mount Longonot National Park hiking.

Alternatively, you can decide to relax at the lodge, swim or in the afternoon visit Elsamere Lodge and conservation centre for tea.

Day 3: Excursions & Activities From Longonot Ranch House

0700 Hours: We have breakfast and depart for a full day safari with picnic lunch to Lake Nakuru National Park or to the Aberdare National Park.

The two parks are located only an hour and 30 minutes drive from Naivasha Kedong ranch.

1800 Hours: Return back to the ranch.
