Our 6 Days Kenya Safari Amboseli Tsavo West National Park tour begins with a drive to Amboseli National Park – Kenya’s second most popular national park after the Masai Mara.

Located 160 miles from Nairobi, the park offers a stunning view of both Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru.

In addition to the beautiful sunsets and sunrises of Mt. Kilimanjaro, you can enjoy an eclectic array of animals, including large herds of elephants, buffalo, impala, lion, cheetah, hyena, giraffes, zebra, and wildebeest among other African animals.

There is also a host of Kenya birds, both large and small, to see if you keep your eyes open and stop at every sighting.

Our next destination after Amboseli in the 6 Days 5 Nights Kenya Tsavo West Amboseli Wildlife Safari is the Tsavo National Park situated west of its sister, Tsavo East National Park.

Tsavo West National Park is home to red elephants, as well as to members of the rest of the “Big 5” African animals (buffalo, African lions, leopards and rhinos).

Other animals include lions, hippos, cheetahs, hartebeest and buffalo. There is also a host of Kenyan birds and other animals, both large and small, to see.

Visit attractions such as Mzima Springs to watch the hippos bathing underwater, visit the Lava flows and caves for geological interest; explore the caves or hike along the lava flow.

The cliff faces in Tsavo West offer some of the best rock climbing in Kenya.

Day 1: Nairobi – Drive To Tsavo West National Park

After breakfast, we depart by road and drive through the scenic Athi Plains and into the bush country of Tsavo West National Park.

with special attractions including Mzima Springs & underwater hippo watching, Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary among others.

The park is unique and its habitat include open plains alternating with Savannah bush and semi desert scrub, acacia woodlands; rocky ridges and outcrops.

There are also more extensive ranges and isolated hills; belts of riverine vegetation; palm thickets and mountain forest.

Day 2: ExploreTsavo West National Park

An early morning ‘Spice’ game drive permits further exploration of this great park.The Park has large number of birds estimated to be over 500 species.

We explore this park further on morning and afternoon Game drives. Other notable features include Shetani Lava Flow and Ash cones, which is an example of recent volcanic eruption.

Day 3: Tsavo West National Park – Drive To Amboseli National Park

Enjoy an early morning game drive in Tsavo West National Park. Later return to the lodge for breakfast and then depart for Amboseli National Park.

Amboseli is home to the legendary Masai tribesmen and famous for huge herds of Elephant. We arrived at Amboseli in time for lunch.

Later we have some time to relax, swim and enjoy the camps/lodge grounds. Our delightful lodge is perfectly located in the very centre of the reserve. In the after noon game drive is planned until sunset.

Day 4 & 5: Explore Amboseli National Park

We awaken to the sights and sounds of big game country and, if we’re lucky, to a view of Kilimanjaro often unclouded in the early morning sky.

In addition to elephant, antelope, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo and the rare black rhino.

Amboseli is sought after by travelers in the know for its breathtaking scenery and easily approachable wildlife. There is also a host of Kenya birds, both large and small, to see if you keep your eyes open and stop at every sighting.

Just after daybreak, we venture into the crisp morning air in search of the great herds. Our game drives are sure to reveal great wonders.
