Day 1: Kampala/ Entebbe – Drive To Kidepo Valley National Park
after an early Breakfast and drive to Kidepo National Park using the shortest (656 km) route which will take you from Kampala – Soroti – Kotido via Amuria to the far North-East where Uganda borders Kenya and Southern Sudan.
You will have an opportunity of viewing some of the Park animals and birds found close by the camp.

Day 2: Walking Safari & Game Drive In Kidepo Valley National Park
After an early breakfast we start early with an exciting walking safari in Kidepo Valley Park. The park has some great places for Nature and Bush Walks.
There is nothing like taking in the African Wild on foot and there are not many better places to do so than Kidepo Valley Park.
All Nature Walks and Hikes within the Park will guided by Uganda Wildlife Authority Rangers, you cannot wander off on your own in this remote park.
The hike will take you to parts where you can’t go with a vehicle, besides the many animals you will definitely enjoy the views and scenery this park has to offer.
After the 8 to 10 km hike it is time for lunch. After lunch you will go on a game drive to other parts of the park.
The afternoon game drive that will take you through the Narus Valley to see herds of buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, zebras and hopefully some lions, leopard and the elusive cheetah.
This will also enable you to be in full sight of varieties of birds as well. Stops will be made at any time in order for you to be able to take pictures of fabulous wildlife and birds along the way.

Day 3: Kidepo Valley National Park (Game Drives And Village Walks)
After an early morning breakfast, embark on a morning game drive across savannah, hills, small forests, dry river beds and rings of mountains around you where a variety of animals and birds can be seen.
Return to your camp for lunch and a brief rest in the mid-afternoon. There is no fixed program for the afternoon, but there are a variety of possibilities.
After lunch you can opt to then go for the afternoon game drive or take a guided nature walk, or even take a village walk to one of the surrounding communities.

Day 4: Kidepo – Drive To Kotido Town (Visit The Karamojong People In Their Villages)
After breakfast you will leave for Kotido. Depending on road conditions, you may have lunch in Kaabong. After arrival and check-in you will visit the largest Manyatta in East-Africa.
Climb a large rock and take in the incredible views of the Nakipelemoru Manyatta. After this climb, head into the Manyatta and meet the Karamojong people where you can take pictures and speak one on one with the people.
This visit will truly be one of the highlights of your trip. In the afternoon you will visit an authentic Karamojong craft shop run by a Dutch woman living in Kotido.
After an afternoon rest, explore the Kotido town and visit the sliding rock. This rock is a 10 meter long slide from the rocks and a very popular attraction with the local people.

Kotido Town – Sipi Falls Mount Elgon National Park
After breakfast a day of travel will start. You will leave Karamoja behind and continue to Mt. Elgon to Sipi Falls.
Sipi Falls is a series of three tall waterfalls all plunging along the lower slopes of Mt Elgon (the 4th highest peak in Africa shared between Eastern Uganda and Western Kenya).
You will travel 4 to 6 hours from Kotido to Sipi Falls. This drive will be long, but the views will be beautiful! The scenery in this part of Uganda is spectacular!

Day 6: Sipi Falls Hike – Drive Back To Kampala
After breakfast short hikes in and around the local area will be arranged to see the plethora of waterfalls, breathtaking landscape and abundant birdlife.
One can choose to take hikes that last anywhere from 1 to 4 hours, depending on routes taken.
Spend the day viewing all three of waterfalls in the Sipi valley, this trek can be strenuous in places but has many viewpoints to stop and rest and take in the beautiful scenery of Mount Elgon and plains below.
Our guides will take you through the local trails and can introduce you to the local area and Sabine customs. Enjoy lunch before heading back for Kampala in the evening.
