7 Day 6 Nights Uganda Wildlife Safari Chimpanzee Gorilla Trekking courtesy of the 7 Days Kampala Safaris tour begins and ends in Kampala, Uganda.

The first destination visited on this tour is Semliki located 375 km (225 miles) west of Kampala (6 to 7 hour drive). Semliki is one of Uganda’s most important safari destinations for bird watching and chimpanzee tracking tours.

The next stop on the tour is Kibale Forest National Park – home to one of the most beautiful and stunning natural forests in Uganda. The Park is the best safari destination for chimpanzee tracking in Africa.

Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda’s most popular game reserve and certainly one of the most scenic.

The park is known for the big four animals: elephants, lions, buffalo and leopards. Rarely seen tree climbing lions are also found in the Ishasha area, the southern part of the park.

Elsewhere, the Kyambura Gorge harbors habituated chimps. The Kazinga Channel boat cruise is one of the highlights of a visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Large numbers of hippos, elephants, buffalo, crocodiles and water birds converge on the Kazinga Channel.

Our 7 Day 6 Nights Uganda Wildlife Safari Chimpanzee Gorilla Trekking ends with a visit to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – home to roughly half of the world’s mountain gorillas.

There are approximately 30 gorilla families in the park, with 8 habituated gorilla groups. All the habituated groups are tracked daily by not more than 8 visitors per group, escorted by National Park rangers and guides.
