Routing (Nairobi, 2 nights Amboseli, 1 night Aberdere, 2 nights Samburu, 1 night Lake Nakuru, 2 nights Masai  Mara- 3 nights Watamu, Nairobi- Departure)

Day 1: Arrival, meet and greet, Nairobi- Amboseli National Park
Upon arrival at the airport and clearing customs/immigration formalities, you will be met by our representative and transferred to a city hotel for a short rest (Panafric or similar). After breakfast, you will embark on your dream safari adventure of Kenya through the vast endless open plains of Athi and on the whistling  Acacia trees of masai land. Just about 2 hours driving southwards from Nairobi, and on a clear day, you will be watching the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro also known as the Roof of Africa. You will arrive in good time for buffet lunch in the lodge. Short rest before your afternoon game drive begins. Explore the swampy areas looking for the Big four wildlife and plenty of birds that abundant in this semi- arid park. Day 2: Amboseli National Park  (the roof of Africa)
Today pre- breakfast morning and afternoon game drives are included. A game drive through Amboseli takes you across this vast lakebed – often dry, but still very swampy in some areas.  Amboseli is best known for its great herds of elephant – you will often find many of them standing  knee-deep in the water, spraying themselves to keep cool.  But there is a  lot of other game here too – cheetah, buffalo, giraffe, many types of  gazelle and other plains game- and it is all set against the amazing  backdrop of majestic  Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895 meters)showing all its glory. Dinner and overnight:   Amboseli Sopa Lodge or Amboseli Sentrim  (B,L,D)

Day 3: Amboseli-  Aberdere  National Park
After breakfast, check out drive northwards through Nairobi with picnic lunch boxes and  head northwest to  Aberdare National Park. Along the way, you may stop at the colourful Karatina Market, regarded as the largest Open Air Market in East Africa and sample the local wares. You will check in at Outspan hotel or Aberdare country club, this is base hotel where you check and deposit your luggage ready to go to Aberdare National Park. NOTE: Only overnite hand luggage is allowed at both Treetops/Ark. This park is made famous by Queen Elizabeth the 2nd who ascended to the throne in 1952 while on a holiday visit. Here animals come for salt lick and you view them from the Balcony of the lodge. Dinner and Overnight: Treetops – (www.aberdarehotels.com) or The Ark  (www.thearkkenya.com) (B,L,D). Distance – approx. 440km  6hrs drive

Day 4: Aberdare – Samburu Game Reserve
Meet your safari guide then head north through breathtaking scenery dotted with rushing mountain streams and fields of tea and coffee. Before Nanyuki town, you will stop at THE EQUATOR for a memorable EQUATOR BRIEFING and water demonstration. On different hemispheres water spins different directions.  After Nanyuki town, you will reach the outpost known as Isiolo, the last major stop on the journey into the remote northern frontier. Descend from lush climate to semi-arid area that is Samburu arriving in time for lunch. Your comfortable, lodge is perched along the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River, which is a lifeline and the nerve center of this reserve; animals congregate along its banks to quench their thirst. The reserve is also the home of the nomadic, cattle herding Samburu tribe. Your afternoon includes a SAFARI drive before returning to your lodge as the sun sets. Day 5: Samburu Game Reserve
Both Morning and afternoon game drives are scheduled for today.  Samburu harbors a number of wildlife species rarely found elsewhere.  Enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing in search of Northern Species of Game not seen south of the Equator, such as Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy, Zebra, Beisa Oryx and Somali Ostrich.  Another creature UNIQUE to these areas is the Long-necked Gerenuk (meaning ‘giraffe neck’), a graceful antelope that stands upright on its hind legs to feed on tall bushes which is among  the Samburu’s “Special Five” — (the reticulated giraffe, long-necked gerenuk, Somali ostrich, Grevy’s zebra and beisa oryx ) never found anywhere else. The Uaso Nyiro River provides bathing pools for hippos, elephants and crocodiles.  Keep your eyes open for lion, cheetah, or elusive leopard.  There is also a variety of birds like vulturine guinea fowl among others Dinner and Overnight: Samburu Sopa Lodge or Samburu Shaba Lodge   (B,L,D)

Day 6:  Samburu – Lake Nakuru National Park
After an early breakfast, drive southwards past the northern tip of the Aberdare mountains, then descend into the Great Rift Valley where Lake Nakuru is located. You are in Nakuru town (Kenya’s fourth largest town) in time for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon you have a game drive. Lake Nakuru is a shallow soda lake renown  for its huge concentration of flamingoes. It’s also a White Rhino Sanctuary. You embark on a game drive upon arrival which includes a walk on the shores of the lake to view flamingoes from close range. Keep your eyes open for the elusive Leopard or the famed Tree climbing lions of this park. Sarova Lion Hill  (B,L,D) www.sarovahotels.com  Distance: Approx: 350 kms – 4 hrs drive

Day 7: Lake Nakuru- Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast climb the Western Escarpment of the Rift Valley and head towards Masai Mara.  With its vast open plains and distinctive flat-topped acacia trees, acacia trees, no visit to Kenya would be complete without a visit here. Enjoying views of picturesque Masai tribesmen herding cattle on the way, you arrive in time for an afternoon game drive includes searching for the Big Five, elephants, Buffalos, lions, Rhinos and leopards, before returning to your lodge as the sun sets! Dinner and overnight – Mara Simba Lodge www.marasimba.com  or similar (B,L,D) Distance Approx. 310 kms – 5 hrs drive .(Poor road network- Half of the way roads are in poor state, with potholes and it may take more time than the estimated.)

Day 8: Masai Mara Game Reserve
Pre-breakfast morning game drive in the reserve, a great opportunity to explore the vast flora and fauna of this magnificent reserve.  After a rewarding game drive, return to your lodge for late morning breakfast. or A full day game drive with picnic lunch boxes  (full day game drive including visits to Mara River, Kenya Tanzania Border Post and a great chance to view the “Big Five” and the great Wildebeest migration. You will have picnic lunch at Hippo Pool. Spend your days in this magnificent savannah country, home to Kenya’s most varied animal population. Lion may be seen throughout the park, along with elephant, giraffe and zebra. Cheetah and leopard are also regularly spotted, and you may also find rhino.  Today you have both pre-breakfast and afternoon game drives. Watch the animal kingdom come to life against the impressive African sunrise and sunsets  Dinner and Overnight -Mara Simba Lodge or similar  (B,L,D).

Day 9:  Nairobi – Mombasa (Watamu) 
Depart after break fast and journey back to Nairobi  and   transferred to airport for your flight to Malindi, arrive and transfer to your beach resort.  Dinner and overnight: Turtle Bay Beach Club or similar www.turtlebay.co.ke B,D, Distance 280 kms 4hrs drive. Flying 45 minutes  (Poor road network- Half of the way roads are in poor state and with potholes and it may take more time than the estimated.)

Day 10: Watamu

Enjoy yourself in Watamu or choose optional activities .Dinner and Overnight: Turtle Bay Beach Club or similar – half board

 Day 11:  Watamu
Enjoy yourself in Watamu. Dinner and Overnight: Turtle Bay Beach Club or similar – half board

 Day 12: Nairobi – Departure

After breakfast you will be transferred to airport for your flight to Nairobi, and connect your outbound departure flight.
