Day 1: Arrival, meet and greet – Nairobi
Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport, you will be met by our airport representative and transferred to your city hotel for overnight. Our rep will take you through a brief pre-safari orientation before embarking on your dream safari adventure of Kenya. Day 2: Nairobi- Amboseli National Park
Picked from your hotel in Nairobi and head to Amboseli and on a clear day, you will be watching the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro also known as the Roof of Africa. You will arrive in good time for buffet lunch in the lodge. Short rest before your afternoon game drive begins. Explore the swampy areas looking for the Big four wildlife and plenty of birds that abundant in this semi- arid park. Return to your lodge as the sun sets! Dinner and Overnight: Kibo Safari Camp or similar B, L,D – Distance: Approx: 260 kms – 4 hrs drive
Day 3:- Amboseli- Lake Nakuru National Park
Check out after breakfast and head northwards through Nairobi for lunch and proceed into the Great Rift Valley where Lake Nakuru is located. L. Nakuru is a shallow soda lake, renowned for its huge concentration of flamingos. It is also a Rhino sanctuary. You embark on a game drive which includes a walk on the shores of the lake to view flamingoes from close range. Keep your eyes open for the elusive Leopard or the Tree climbing lions of this park, you will return to your lodge as the sun sets! Dinner and overnight –Flamingo Hill Tented Camp or similar (B,L,D) Distance: Approx. 440 kms – 6 hrs drive
Day 4:– Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast climb the Western Escarpment of the Rift Valley and head towards Masai Mara. With its vast open plains and distinctive flat-topped acacia trees, acacia trees, no visit to Kenya would be complete without a visit here. Enjoying views of picturesque Masai tribesmen herding cattle on the way, you arrive in time for lunch and a short rest!. An afternoon game drive includes searching for the Big Five, elephants, Buffalos, lions, Rhinos and leopards, before returning to your lodge as the sun sets! Dinner and overnight – Olmoran Tented Camp (B,L,D) Distance Approx. 310 kms – 6hrs drive .(Poor road network- Half of the way roads are in poor state, with potholes and it may take more time than the estimated.)
Day 5: Return to Nairobi-
Morning game drive, return for breakfast n and journey back to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch at the world renown Carnivore restaurant www.tamarind.co.ke ; this is an African Barbeque restaurant where meat is charcoal roasted and served hot on your plate. Vegetarian Menu available! Or a vegetarian Restaurant. After lunch, you will be transferred to airport for your outbound departure flight. B,L, Distance 280 kms 5hrs drive. (Poor road network- Half of the way roads are in poor state and with potholes and it may take more time than the estimated.)
